Dear Colleagues,
Further to our announcement on February 20th opening nominations for positions on TUFA’s 2026/2027 Executive Committee, Prof. Jaime Morales has decided to step down as Treasurer, effective 30 April 2026. Jaime has served TUFA members in this capacity since May 2017 and is owed a huge debt of thanks for his expertise and skillful guidance on all matters financial!
We are now, therefore, seeking nominations (blank form here) for TUFA’s President (2-year term), Vice-President (2-year term), two elected Members-at-Large (2-year terms), and Treasurer (1-year term). Contested positions will be decided by election with a mailing date of April 21st. Completed nominations must be received by the Association’s Secretary (c/o the TUFA Office) on or before April 6th.
Nominations are to be made for specific positions on the Executive and require two signatures (nominator and candidate). An open email chain can substitute for physical signatures as proof of intent. A Nominator completing their portion of the attached form should email it to the prospective candidate who – if willing to stand – would complete the form and forward it to the Association with open copy to the Nominator.
