Dear Colleagues,
Community members and workers across Ontario continue to raise concerns about the direction of provincial policy under the Ford government. Issues including cuts to OSAP, pressures on healthcare and education, and environmental concerns have prompted ongoing demonstrations across the province.
A Fight Ford protest will take place this weekend and members are encouraged to attend and show solidarity if they are able. This demonstration is part of a province-wide day of action, with approximately 60 protests taking place across Ontario.
Peterborough Location:
MPP Office of Dave Smith (Unit E, 864 Chemong Rd., Peterborough)

Close to 100 people attended the All Our For Education rally last month, carrying signs and speaking out on a wide range of issues affecting our communities and public institutions. This next demonstration is an opportunity to continue building visibility and collective pressure around these concerns while joining thousands of others across the province doing the same.
If you are able to participate, TUFA encourages you to:
- Attend the protest in person
- Help spread the word among colleagues and networks
Collective presence and public visibility remain important ways to demonstrate support for accessible education, strong public services, and healthy communities. We hope many TUFA members will be able to join. Please contact the TUFA office if you would like to borrow a flag for the protest.
