We would draw members’ attention to the following open invitation to a panel discussion scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday) from 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm in Champlain College, Room M2.
Israel and Palestine: What is Happening and What Might Happen Next?
A Panel Discussion
Events in the Gaza Strip and Israel are the bloodiest we’ve seen in decades. The UN has declared it to be a humanitarian crisis of epic proportions. What are the causes of this crisis? How are we to make sense of (or understand) the seemingly unexplainable violence and the inability of the international community to find a peace? What are the implications for Palestinians, Israelis, the broader region and the global community? Trent students, staff, and faculty invited to attend.
