Dear Colleague,
As this academic year comes to a close, I am writing on behalf of the Nipissing University Faculty Association (NUFA) to thank you and your Association for your support of us during our labour action in November. We deeply appreciate your generosity and your solidarity.
Honestly, I think one of the most powerful experiences during our labour action was the strong and tangible sense that we were not alone. We felt it when our flying pickets arrived, when letters came from your Association with support cheques and words of wisdom and encouragement, and at our rallies, when the cries of all labour groups reminded us and the Employer that we are all fighting for fairness and justice and that our fight is not a solitary one. It was incredibly empowering and we are grateful to you for your part in that experience.
So I want to thank you, for standing with us. Know that we stand with you.
