Description:

In this workshop, we will learn what are racial microaggressions, how we might be participating in perpetuating racial microaggressions, how to name and confront microaggressions, and how to stop them. We will also learn the significant effects of how racialized people deal with ongoing microaggressions in the university on a daily basis. By the end of the workshop, participants will begin to understand racial power and privilege from a systemic and institutional perspective and learn about some strategies tools that can be applied individually and institutionally.
