GMM – Pension Update

Spring General Membership meeting
The Association’s Spring GMM has been scheduled for March 6th (3:00 pm to 5:00 pm) in the Student Centre, room 1.07, and Room 160 on the Durham campus. Members have been sent the Spring Agenda along with the unapproved minutes from our Fall GMM. We have invited pension actuary, Cam Hunter, to brief members on the possibility of moving the TUFA Pension Plan into the University Pension Plan currently under development in Ontario.

The first briefing note on our Pension situation as it relates to bargaining; and additional background information relating to the TUFA Pension Arrangement is available here on our website. Next week we will circulate a second briefing note with information specific to the University Pension Plan mentioned above.
