2021/22 TUFA Executive Committee

Dear Colleagues,

As a result of the work of TUFA’s Nominating and Elections Committee, our Executive Committee has been finalized for the coming year. Thanks are owed to departing Executive Committee members Fergal O’Hagan, Leslie Kerr, and Brenda Smith-Chant for their service to the Association.  Thanks also to the Nominating and Elections Committee (Jocelyn Williams, Bruce Cater, Nadine Changfoot, Dwayne Collins, Marina Morgenshtern, Ellen Olsen-Lynch).  With a single candidate nominated for each open elected office, the nominated members have been declared elected by acclamation (per Article VII.2 of the TUFA Constitution). The Nominating and Elections Committee made recommendations to the Executive for each of the open appointed positions in the coming year and the 2020/21 Executive formalized those appointments during its last regular meeting of the year. The Executive also approved the Nominating and Elections Committee’s recommendation that the off-cycle elected positions (President and Vice President) be for regular two-year terms, with the staggering of union officer elections to be revisited for the 2023 election cycle. The new Executive took office on May 1st.  Your 2021/22 Executive (showing primary departmental affiliation) comprises the following:
