Community and Social Justice Contributions
To enhance TUFA’s capacity to support community and social justice initiatives and projects, the membership charged a subcommittee this year (comprising Jaime Morales, May Chazan, Ray Dart, and Marcus Harvey (Staff) to oversee the Association’s disbursement of funds budgeted for this purpose in the current fiscal year.
Applications in support of local cultural, intellectual, educative, community service, humanitarian, and/or social justice events and initiatives will be preferred.
Potential recipients of TUFA assistance should complete a short description of the organization, of their activities and information about the financial need, with a suggested maximum of 500 words.
Members who are themselves involved with local organizations that could qualify for TUFA assistance or sponsorship should feel free to encourage such applications. Please submit request 8 weeks prior to your event.
