Governing Documents

The Association's primary Governing Documents are its Constitution, Bylaws, and the Certification order establishing TUFA as a bargaining agent.

At its meeting of August 30th, 2011, the Executive Committee struck a Task Force to review the Association's governing documents and provide the membership with a draft report this fall.  The Union will then invite written input from members and will schedule an open meeting to discuss the report and any recommendations contained in it. Following that meeting, the Task Force and the Executive Committee will jointly prepare a final report on TUFA's governing documents for consideration at a General Membership meeting. It will be the job of the Task Force to assess the Association's obligations and current practices in light of our constitution and bylaws to determine what, if any, changes are warranted to those documents.

Members interested in joining the Task Force should contact Momin Rahman mominrahman@trentu.ca for more information
